Today, I’m sharing my current FULL date night makeup routine! I have SUPER sensitive combination skin, so it’s safe to say I’ve tried just about every product out there. I’ve embedded a little video tutorial + broken down all products into categories to make it super easy for you to navigate. Enjoy!
Primer:
IT Cosmetics Oil Free Primer // Spread evenly across face before applying makeup, focusing on areas with large pores. Helps keep makeup ALL DAY! Great for sensitive skin.
Benefit Cosmetics POREfessional Primer // I use this only for the larger pores on and around my nose. 1000% worth it!
Eyebrows:
Benefit Cosmetics Brow Zings Pro Palette // I use this palette to line my eyebrows. I grabbed this brow brush and it’s been a game changer.
Benefit Cosmetics Gimme More Brows – Shade: 6 // The best pigmented gel to fill in eyebrows for a more natural, full look.
Foundation:
Estee Lauder Doublewear Foundation – Color: Tawny // The BEST full coverage foundation out there. Great for oily skin types. I love using this MAC Foundation Brush or Artis Oval 7 Brush for a flawless finish.
Under Eyes:
Tula Rose Gold Eye Balm // I use this eye balm on my under eyes right after applying foundation. It brightens the appearance of dark circles and is filled with caffeine to naturally wake up your skin. Use code JULZ15 for 15% off.
Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector – Color: Light to Medium // YOU NEED! I apply this dark circle corrector right over my Tula eye balm for a lighter, brighter look.
Tarte Shape Tape – Color: Light Sand // This stuff is a GAME CHANGER! I’m obsessed! The formula is on the dyer side, so I love it over the eye balm and brightener corrector. I apply with a beauty blender.
Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Powder – Color: Translucent // My go-to setting powder! I always try different ones, and come back to this one. I personally use this one around my nose and across the T zone. I recommend applying with a beauty blender.
Eyes:
Tarte Tartelette Eyeshadow Palette – Color: Bloom // A classic! I bought this palette a year or so ago and have religiously used it ever since. I LOVE the colors in this palette. Great for everyday makeup, or a good smokey eye. I use shades Charmer (all over lid) and Rocker (in my crease) the most.
Inner Corner - There’s something sexy about highlighting the inner corner of your eyes. Plus, they make them appear bigger. Currently, my favorite luminous shade is MAC’s Dazzlelight. The shade Nylon by MAC is an almost identical color if Dazzlelight isn’t available.
Revlon Liquid Eyeliner Angled Edge Tip – Color: Black // I love the angled tip on this liner. Makes it super easy to use.
Bronzer:
Tarte Cream Bronzer – Color: Seychelles // OMG loooove! So easy to blend and contour the face. Apply with a beauty blender.
Benefit Hoola Matte Bronzer – Color: Hoola Natural Bronze // My tried and true bronzer. I love the matte finish. Great for oily skin types. Apply with my favorite Hourglass Powder Brush.
Blush:
MAC Mineralize Blush – Color: Warm Soul // I love this color! Great for a beachy bronzed look. Apply with my fav Hourglass Powder Brush.
MASCARA
Ya’ll know I wear lash extensions, so I only use mascara on my bottom lashes.
Benefit Cosmetics Roller Lash Mascara // Super fine mascara that’s great for bottom lashes.
Lips:
MAC Lip Pencil – Color: Stripdown // This color looks amazing on every skin tone!
Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink Lip Color – Color: Poet // My favorite nude lippie. Literally lasts all day and doesn’t smudge on masks.
Brushes:
MAC Foundation Brush // One of two favorite foundation brushes! Makeup looks flawless.
Artis Oval 7 Brush // My other favorite foundation brush for a flawless finish!
Hourglass Powder Brush // OBSESSED! Great for powders. I use this for my powder bronzer and blush.
Beakey Beauty Blender // My favorite beauty blenders from Amazon! Get 5 for under $10! Great for applying under eye concealer and setting powder. Huge fan of this brand because you don’t need to wet it.
